Surfing is big in Bahia in general and in Salvador in particular, with plenty of good waves all year round. Several popular beaches in our area are Farol de Itapoan, Stella Maris, Flamengo, and Jaguaribe. Farol de Itapoan is for seasoned surfers who know the waters well. Stella Maris and Flamengo are good, all-round surf beaches, and Jaguaribe consistently attracts surfers of all levels. |
